I wonder about the future

I see whirling explosions of color and japanese tea gardens
I want for those that I love to be happy

I pretend that I live closer to the beach than I do
I feel frustrated when I see apathy
I touch ticky, tacky keyboard keys
I worry about the reaction to change
I cry less often than I should

I understand that most people just want to be understood
I say every person is powerful
I dream about crazy things in other worlds and other lives
I try almost anything new
I hope for adventure and rest
